6th OffshoreAlert Financial Due Diligence Conference
The Bahamas Association of Compliance Officers founding president, Cheryl Bazard, will be one of the panelists for a session on the Bahamas at the 6th OffshoreAlert Financial Due Diligence Conference, which will take place in Fort Lauderdale on April 13-15, 2008. The BACO's Founding president will participate in a 60-minute session on the pros and cons of the Bahamas as an international financial centre that will be moderated by someone from a rival offshore jurisdiction in the Caribbean.

The OffshoreAlert Conference - entitled 'The Unexpurgated Offshore' - is the only independently-organized conference devoted entirely to offshore financial centers. The aim of the conference is to provide credible information to help those who do business in, and with, OFCs to make better-informed decisions, thereby reducing their compliance and general business risks. Most importantly, they will show you what is considered to be legal by major countries like the USA, the UK and Canada - and what is not!
